Voice dictation for real estate agents

Agents do much of their thinking in the car and in the driveway, not at a desk. BabaVoices turns what you say between appointments into clean text: showing notes, buyer follow-ups, seller updates and a first draft of the listing description, ready to paste into email, your CRM or the MLS.

Where the writing time goes

A day with four showings and a listing appointment produces a surprising amount of writing: a note on each property while the details are fresh, a follow-up to the buyers about what they liked and what to see next, an update to a seller about feedback, a reply to a lender, and eventually a listing description for the house you just took on. Each piece is short, and each one gets put off because it means stopping, opening a laptop and typing. By evening the details have blurred together, and the follow-up that would have landed well at 2 p.m. goes out the next morning.

Talking is how agents already process a showing. BabaVoices captures that talk and turns it into usable text. You open the app on your phone, tap the mic, and say what you noticed in the order you noticed it. The browser's speech recognition writes it down, and Polish, which uses Anthropic's Claude, removes the filler, fixes grammar and punctuation, and joins the fragments into sentences. The text is copied to your clipboard the moment you stop, so it can go straight into a text message, an email, a CRM note field or a listing draft.

Three workflows that fit an agent's day

1. Showing notes, recorded in the driveway

Before you pull away, take sixty seconds: what the buyers reacted to, what they didn't like, any questions you need to answer. Polish the note and paste it into the contact's record in your CRM. When you write the follow-up that evening, the specifics are there.

2. Buyer and seller follow-ups

Dictate the message the way you'd say it on a call. On a phone, the Share button sends the polished text into Messages, WhatsApp or Gmail, so a client gets a clear, typo-free update while you're still parked outside the property. For sellers, the same approach works for summarizing feedback after an open house.

3. A first draft of the listing description

Walk the property and narrate it room by room, as if you were showing it to a buyer: the layout, the updates, the light, the yard, the commute. Polish turns that narration into clean paragraphs. You then cut it to your MLS's character limit and adjust the wording. Polish does not add features you didn't mention, which matters: the draft describes the house you saw, not a generic one.

What you said

Okay so 412 Maple, the Nguyens, um they loved the kitchen, like really the island and the the gas range, didn't love the uh second bedroom it's small it's kind of small for a nursery maybe okay. Questions: they want to know HOA fee, and um whether the roof is was replaced, seller said 2019 I think need to confirm. Next, uh show them Birch Street Saturday.

After Polish

412 Maple (the Nguyens): They loved the kitchen, especially the island and the gas range. They felt the second bedroom is small, though it may work as a nursery.

Questions: What is the HOA fee? Was the roof replaced? The seller said 2019; I need to confirm.

Next: show them Birch Street on Saturday.

The address, the names and the open question about the roof all survive. The "I think" became "I need to confirm," which keeps the uncertainty you expressed rather than turning a guess into a fact. That is the behavior you want from a tool that touches property details.

Honest limitations

Privacy. BabaVoices never receives your audio. Polished text passes through our server to Anthropic's Claude; it isn't used for training, and Polish itself doesn't store it; if you sign in, history sync keeps it in your account (except on the Private plan). See the privacy policy.

Frequently asked questions

Can BabaVoices write my MLS listing description?

It cleans up what you say into readable prose; it does not invent features. If you narrate the property's details in a listing-like order, the polished result is a solid first draft. You are still responsible for accuracy, your MLS's character limits and rules, and fair housing compliance.

Does it work on my phone during showings?

Yes. BabaVoices runs in the browser on iPhone (any browser) and Android (Chrome), and you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app. Speech recognition needs a data connection on most phones.

Can I send the text to my CRM or to a client by text message?

The text is copied to your clipboard when you stop dictating, so you can paste it anywhere. On a phone, the Share button sends it straight to Messages, WhatsApp, Gmail or any app that accepts text.

What about client confidentiality?

BabaVoices never receives your audio. Text you polish passes through the BabaVoices server to Anthropic's Claude; it is not used for training, and Polish itself does not store it; if you sign in, history sync keeps it in your account (except on the Private plan). History is stored in your browser unless you sign in to sync it. Follow your brokerage's policy for sensitive financial details.

Can I dictate in a language other than English?

Yes. Dictation supports about 20 languages, including Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Hindi and French, with regional variants. Polish cleans up the text in the language you dictated.
